Contribution to Body Awareness Project Course:
The connection between skin and gut is so important, and often times overlooked! Sarah Morgan describes just how important the massive group of bacteria in our digestive tract truly is to helping the immune system do its job correctly. The “buddies” so to speak, help metabolize hormones and control inflammation in the skin! Not only are these little guys crucial for reducing problems with food sensitivities, but they also work hard to communicate with our brain as probiotics and play a huge role in mood, sleep and focus. Inside The Body Awareness Project SKIN Box, we have included the Buddies in My Belly: Be Calm probiotic supplement because GOOD BUDDIES = BEAUTIFUL SKIN.
